It is important to us to take this uniqueness and the different needs into account and to preserve them. Diversity Charter

Our words are not empty words: in 2019, our managing directors Dr. Christophe Campana and Dr. Eric Schott signed the Diversity Charter in 2019 - an employer initiative with the aim of promoting the recognition, appreciation and inclusion of diversity in the world of work in Germany. By signing, we have committed ourselves to promoting diversity and appreciation in the world of work.

Encourage diversity

We support and promote variety in order to integrate different perspectives in our company. We do this through internal initiatives in all areas, training and working with recognized external partners. Our initiatives regularly exchange ideas with our managers to sensitize them to how to deal with various issues.

Where people work together, different perspectives and opinions collide. Sometimes topics arise that you don't want to discuss with your direct colleagues or manager. We have "CS Confidants" for situations like this. These colleagues from different areas at several of our locations are available to all employees in sensitive situations for confidential discussions and support.

LGBT*IQ

Our diversity makes us strong and we encourage all employees to bring their whole personality to our working environment. Trust and respect are essential building blocks of our corporate DNA. This also includes our LGBT*IQ community sharing their experiences with our managers on a regular basis and giving tips, for example how they can support employees when they come out. We are also supporters of the #positivarbeiten campaign run by the German AIDS Aid and are committed to respectful interaction and discrimination-free collaboration.

Corporate Network SCOUT

With pride and passion for the cause, visible and colorful - this is the motto of our SCOUT network, that gives the LGBT*IQ community at Campana & Schott a face. SCOUT is available to all colleagues as a contact point, organizes events for the LGBT*IQ community and allies and promotes acceptance and support as well as the exchange of knowledge and raising awareness of LGBT*IQ-relevant topics. SCOUT is represented at several CS locations and our managing director Dr. Christophe Campana actively supports the network as a sponsor.

PRIDE Champion

In 2022, we were awarded the golden PRIDE Champion seal of the Uhlala Group for the first time. In 2024, we were able to repeat this success. This time even in the category of companies with more than 500 employees. This seal is based on an audit that covers the categories of organizational culture, human resources, communication & visibility, and legal framework & regulations. We are proud to be able to show through the independent audit that inclusion and diversity are really lived at Campana & Schott. In the same year, we were also included in the PRIDE Index.

PROUT AT WORK

The PROUT AT WORK Foundation is committed to increasing the visibility of the LGBT*IQ community in the workplace and supports companies in continuously developing their work culture. The organization provides our employees and managers with educational and awareness-raising opportunities. CS supports PROUT AT WORK as a PROUT EMPLOYER.

Gender

At Campana & Schott, we empower women and support the development of female role models and leaders. As a male-dominated technology consultancy, we are aiming to increase our overall proportion of women to 50% and to 35% in our management positions in the coming years. To this end, we identify existing differences as part of our internal gender initiative, derive measures and provide impetus to our management.

Corporate network WoMen@CS

At regular WoMen@CS meetings, we exchange views on various topics that affect us in our daily work, such as work-life balance or development opportunities. We identify relevant topics and give our female colleagues a space for exchange and open discussion. 

top4women

Our efforts to promote women have been positively confirmed by the top4women initiative with the silver certificate. The signet stands for companies that make a visible effort to promote women as an economic factor by rejecting discriminatory behavior, offering part-time models and family-friendly measures or explicitly encouraging women to apply for jobs. The certificate was accompanied by an assessment that identified additional areas for action, but also clearly reinforced our previous actions.

Events & Networks

Through the WOMEN&WORK community, the herCAREER platform and the women's network nushu, we work together with initiatives that accompany and support women on their career path. We also organize our own events and work with student organizations to give them an insight into consulting.

Inclusion

In every company, people from all walks of life work together. We value the uniqueness and diverse needs of all employees. We are aware that an open and diverse culture means constant change and work. We constantly question ourselves in our daily collaboration and are prepared to break new ground. Through our internal initiatives and cooperation with external partners, we are becoming increasingly aware of the different facets of diversity and inclusion.

FleCS program and CSAcademy

At CS, people from different generations work closely together, and each life situation brings with it different wishes and needs for everyday working life. As part of our FleCS program, we offer individual working time models. Through our CSAcademy, our employees can choose from various training opportunities for their professional and personal development.
