Since 2015, the German Social Collaboration Study has provided a comprehensive, tool- and vendor-independent overview of the development of digitally networked collaboration in companies. It focuses on how the use of modern technologies impacts productivity, correlates employee collaboration with job satisfaction, and the insights companies can draw from this.
The study is published by the Department of Information Systems | Software & AI Business at the Technical University of Darmstadt, led by Prof. Dr. Peter Buxmann, in cooperation with Campana & Schott.
The 2025 survey involved more than 500 employees from large and medium-sized companies across a wide range of industries in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The participants are primarily employed in upper mid-sized companies, large enterprises, and corporations.
