Microsoft 365 Copilot already serves as a reliable companion in everyday work, answering questions about meetings, documents, and chats. During the Microsoft Wave 2 event, numerous new features were introduced, including “Copilot Agents”. These enable the creation of company-specific and use case-specific agents based on the Copilot engine. For example, a project management assistant could leverage the best practices from an internal PM Excellence SharePoint page to provide project-related support. A key feature is the ability to define the agent’s behavior and communication style through "instructions," ensuring it is precisely tailored to the specific needs of project management.
These agents can be created via the Agent Builder and further optimized using “Microsoft Copilot Studio”. For more advanced customization, “Visual Studio Code” offers the possibility to develop tailored plugins. This ensures access to up-to-date information from internal solutions like the CS PPM Power Suite, fostering intelligent use of company-specific data. All these features are available within the Microsoft 365 Copilot App and BizChat, significantly contributing to project success.
